I'm trying to figure out the color palette inside the house. It needs to be dull to give the mundane vibe but also have to possess warmth, like a safe sanctuary. It's a nice limbo I guess.

Also these are some of the animation style that I would like to achieve, there are stop-motion ones and       2D ones.

Change is the expected and here we have the altered storyboard. The story is essentially the same but with a new event that adds more information about the world and hopefully the characters.

Hello Grad Film!

It has now officially started! I'm taking the previous project with me as a starting point for my senior project. The characters are pretty much the same, I have gotten close to them and getting to know who they are. This is my rough storyboard, it doesn't even have an ending. But of course things going to change. Right now I'm having some dilemma whether to execute this film as a stop-motion or a 2D animation with some stop-motion scenes. Hmmmmm

The Prototype

Despite all the accidents and re-doings the project is now actually done! The puppets may or may not make it as characters in my grad film but the theme of relationship and unusual journey across strange environments will definitely still be there.

This poor thing lost one of its legs.

*Gasp*

I actually foresee this disaster coming from since I've made the puppet. The legs are a bit too short and so not enough room for bending, the wire finally gave in. Going to perform some major surgery on them.
